4th batizado 2004
On the 27th - 29th of May 2005 we held our main event: the 4th batizado. This year the long serving pupils of our Nottingham group received their 3rd belts (following the steps of Flecha in 2003 and Mascote in 2004).
This year we had the immense pleasure of having our beloved Mestre Suassuna, Mestre Espirro Mirim from Fortaleza - Brasil, Mestre Flavio Tucano from Sao Paulo, Brasil, Mestre Ze Antonio from Guaratingueta, Brasil, Mestre Poncianinho from London, UK, Contra-Mestre Boca Rica, Contra-Mestre Casquinha, Contra-Mestre Eurico, Contra-Mestre Citaozinho, Contra-Mestre Joguinho, Professor Parente (all from Cordão de Ouro), Mestre Maxwell from Beribazu, teaching in Swansea UK, Professor Rilene, Professor Rejane and Professor Boneco from Amazonas based in London and Brighton.
We were also visited by many capoeiristas from abroad as far as Sweden, Latvia and Italy.
