Mestre Suassuna, the beloved founder and 'light beacon' of our group Cordão de Ouro, visited us for the first time in this event.

Other special guests included Mestre Deputado, former pupil of Mestre Bimba himself, Mestre Poncianinho, Professor Casquinha, Professor Boneco, Professor Rilene, Professor Rejane, Professor Caboclin, Professor Chicote amd Professor Parente. Flecha, the first student of our teacher Contra-Mestre Papa-Léguas received her 3rd belt, the first student in the Nottingham group to receive it.
